American Roots, Parisian Heart

Paris is one of those places you can fall in love with time and time again. There is something about the way the light hits the city during sunset and the charm that awaits on every corner. The Parisian cafes are full of people drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes. Even in the earliest hours of the morning, people are wandering through the streets. Every time I go to Paris, I explore new arrondissements, feeling more like a Parisienne each trip. My passport is full of stamps to and from, and I can’t help but feel like I leave a part of me there every time I leave. Between the cafes, coffee shops, museums, and shopping, I have jotted down a list of my favorite places to go.
"Paris is a beautiful and charming city, and it is easy to see why they call it the city of love."

I plan to go to Paris often, and sometimes dream of living there even if it’s for a brief moment. Paris is a beautiful and charming city, and it is easy to see why they call it the city of love. The more I go, the less I pack. I bring only my favorite staples and wear things on repeat. Paris fashion is different than Los Angeles and yet, I love them both equally. Sometimes I feel like I resonate with one more than the other but they are always interchanging, both so vividly a part of my personal style.

Paris style is classic, feminine and always inspires me to simplify my look. Parisian women are effortless and their style is something that always has that 'je ne sais quoi’ about it. The looks I packed from Lucky are the perfect balance between that American label vibe meets Parisian chic. With fitted denim, lightweight blouses and a simple accessory like a hat, I’ve realized that an understated look is what should always be strived for. We always want to know their secret, but even if we can’t know it, we can try to emulate it in the way we dress and how we carry ourselves.
